Disinfecting a wool blanket?

Has anyone got any advice on how to do this? Small person has a tummy bug and before it kicked off last night it was cold in her room and I covered her with her big blanket. Blanket is a knitted square one of great gorgeousness knitted lovingly by a very aged relative, napisan is not an option. It was puked on Does anyone have any ideas? It's been washed in wool wash and dried but I'm thinking this will not a tummy bug kill, had thought at that stage it was just the mud eating catching up with her.... Any advice gratefully recieved!

Hang it out on the line for a few sunny days and cold nights.

Hang it out on the line in direct sunlight, uv rays will kill off any nasties!

Heading out now! Due a frost I think :-) Duh, why didn't I think of that??

A frost would be perfect. If it is a thick frost maybe get it in quite early tomorrow so the extra moisture & weight doesn't pull it out of shape as it warms up.

tumble drier (but do it when already dry, to prevent shrinkage)

It's been washed it'll be fine. You could use dilute zoflora if you really think it needs it.
