Delicate light fittings to clean and very high ceilings

We have some lovely light fittings but they are quite delicate and our ceilings are about 10ft high in the hallway and kitchen.

I don't want to spend a fortune getting a specialist company in. Has anyone any ideas on really tiny dusters for crevices and also how to get up there easily.

I am about to do this myself so can't say how well it works but I have been told by other people that it is very good. Lakeland sells something in a spray can called Chandelier cleaner (or similar). You need to turn off the electricity, put down cloths or paper, and spray it upwards over the light fitting and leave it to drop off. I've got the stuff, just haven't got round to doing it. MIL used to use it and thought it was good. HTH
