where should I get a new kitchen from?

We'd like to move house in the next year or so but would have to do something about the kitchen before we could sell, used to have a dog and she trashed the floor and the doors and worksurfaces also need replacing. Don't want to spend too much as we don't see ourselves there long term but want it to be nice enough that we'll enjoy it if we can't afford to move as soon as we'd like. Where would people recommend going to or staying clear of? Ikea? B&Q?

No real advice, but I'm going to follow this as we're also looking at getting a new kitchen.

Reviews tend to be good for Ikea and not good for B&Q. We visited Ikea yesterday and we're quite impressed, but we also felt the little extras soon added up.

IKEA gets rave reviews here for value, looks, durability.

My bil has bought & renovated 2 houses and has installed an IKEA kitchen in each one. Very good value for money, simple & stylish.

Alternatively you could try Wicks, the builders merchant, as they tend to be a bit cheaper.

Mine is ikea and it's fantastic.

We have a crown kitchen, think it's mid range cost. Has solid wood in frame units but cheaper than Harvey Jones iyswim.
