How to dry curtains.

Washed curtains for the first time this morning. I have read the tip on here to re hang the curtains whilst damp to remove creases. Do I hang straight out of the machine or line dry a bit first??

You're talking about sheer curtains, right? Because thick ones need ironing.
Yes, you can hang them straight back up out of the machine. If they don't have metal weights in the hems, you can wet the curtain bottoms to pull the wrinkles out. Just place the wet hems in an empty bucket to stop drips..

I iron mine straight from the washer then hang to dry. I find the creases don't come out otherwise
