Do you have set days for doing things?

In a bid to become more organised I have decided to start doing things on set days. For example food shopping on a Monday/ getting petrol on a Friday/ car washed every 3rd Friday etc and marking it all as to-dos in my planner.

If you do does this work for you?

Yes, I do. I have a Flylady-esque Control Journal with schedules on it. I've built it up over time so it works really well for us.

As an exampe I have:

Monday:
Vacuum downstairs
Wipe down Kitchen
Clean bathroom

Tuesday:
Tidy DS' Room
Dust upstairs
Craft Evening – make birthday cards

Wednesday:
Clean out Rabbit
Pack swimming bag
Vacuum downstairs
Put out recycling box (alternate weeks)

Thursday:
Wash all bedding
Wash towels
Vacuum upstairs
Empty all bins

Friday:
Vacuum downstairs
Sort out nappy bag

Saturday:
Baking
Clean out fridge
Mow lawn (weather permitting)

Sunday:
Clean out and groom rabbits
Wash Pet Bowls
Check nursery bag
Ironing
Check Diaries for week – birthdays?
Put out bins

Every Day
Cook Dinner
Wash Up
One Load of Laundry – put away yesterday’s laundry
Feed rabbits & birds
Walk dogs
Take out recycling
15 minutes decluttering / hotspots
Make Beds
Make Lunches
Get work bags ready

I try to have set days and keep lists but my set days usually end up actually being tomorrow.

That list above looks good so I might use that, thanks!
