Where were they when it was clean?!

My house has been spotless for four weeks, and ive had no visitors..

today family friends turn up on the doorstep and the dishes havent been done from last night, DS has all of his artwork and pens/pencils strewn across the floor as we were in the middle of a 'picturethon', the cat has diorriah(sp?), and the kitchen side has porridge and bits off banana on it from breakfast.

Where were they when it was clean and tidy?!

no body else gets this then?
must be the only messy MNer ...

they were waiting quietly outside...waiting for all messy hell to break loose..before they rang the bell......

Are you living in my house?

(Only mine never has that 4 week period of spotlessness beforehand, so maybe not! )

well i think thats why im so miffed that it happened. i have been awful at keeping the house tidy for..well.. ever. i was spurred on by DP to have a springclean, to make me feel a little better about my life, sat at home in a pigsty.
It worked, house was lovely.. the very second it looks like it never changed in my house, there they are, visitors!!!

that always happens to me! (except it;s clean for maybe 17 minutes)

thank god its not just me then well i spose i better get cleaning now then instead of sat on the 'puter.. maybe just 5 more minutes...

argh this happened to me today as well! had house spotless for last month and last night i was a bit lax - MIL turns up this morning!

No, it happens to me too - house spotless all week and the moment MIL and SIL turn up, it's been trashed!!!!
