Not too sure whether this is the right place to post but I was wondering whether anyone had any knowledge about storing wedding dresses? Mine is in the process of being cleaned but I decided not to let them box it up for me, as they said it would take an extra 5 weeks.
I was told that I could keep it in the fabric bag the dress shop provided for up to three years, but that I should get a box for it after that.
I'm just not sure whether I can stretch to a box at the moment, and wanted to know whether a wedding dress box is the only option, or whether they can be kept hanging up, if you keep it in the right sort of bag etc?
