Hopefully attached pic works.
We have a sort of wardrobe built into an alcove (30s house) with a hanging rail but nothing else. I need to store 2x kids clothes in it. Whatever goes in there can't be too deep (it's about 50cm deep and 110cm wide). Budget is tight. Any ideas? If possible I'd like each child to have their own side.

IKEA do all sorts of clothes storage here: www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/categories/departments/bedroom/11466/
Would budget stretch to getting some shelves put in the bottom?

Does it have a door? If so over door storage might maximise space.

Do you want to keep that chest of drawers or replace it?

I would put up some battens and install some MDF shelves. Maybe also put in a hanging organiser to make sure full width used. I it's for children would lower the height of the rail and put shelves above (maybe to store some other stuff out of the way?). - Encourage them to keep their clothes tidy themselves .....

Thanks all. We're enquiring about getting shelves put in at the bottom, and also good idea to utilise back of the door for storage too- looking at putting some
Kind of baskets/hooks there too. May move rail down, may not be quite at child level but closer anyway, and an extra shelf above for clothes that are to grow into/seasonal stuff...
