Will my washing machine work with no hot water???

It is hot and cold filter... hot water isn't working right now.

Will my washing machine work without hot water?? Logic tells me it will just have to work harder to heat it up...

Ours is on cold fill only - you can get a special Y tube to join both pipes on wm to the cold inlet from DIY stores.

Liz is right, there needs to be some water coming in at the hot water intake or it won't work at all.

But I guess as long as there is water flowing in the pipes and tank, even if cold, it will still work.

Oh yes, it will - at least I think so!

I never tested mine with cold water at the hot inlet, I just know it wouldn't work with none.

Oh, hang on - Flame, do you have cold water in your hot pipes atm? I was thinking you had no water there at all!

Yes it will definitely still work. It will heatt the water up itself so it might take a bit longer
