Best glue to repair Kitchen cabinet

my teens keep moving my kettle and boiling it near my kitchen cabinets (they are horizontal ones up top) and now the laminate is starting to come away from under the edge of the door on the uppermost one. What is the best glue to use to repair it? I tried superglue 6 months ago but it hasn't held.
Many thanks

sounds like you have a foil-wrapped door. Post a photo if you can. Contact adhesive might work for a bit. Get some matching glue cleaning fluid of the same brand. Try evo-stik

Start saving up for better doors. Make a deduction of £5 a week from their beer allowance until you have enough.

See if you can move the kettle to a socket that is not under a cabinet.

Thanks PigletJohn - you are right it is "foil". Ah - Evo- stick, of course my Dad used to use it to repair tough stuff.

Would that I could have a better quality kitchen ( it is super modern which I dislike) - but it is only 7 years old (put in when house redeveloped)and is an unusual cream colour - it was here when I bought the house 5 years ago and was in perfect condition - so it is impossible to buy a new door to match. I may have to sell up soon (freelancer with very little work the past few years and declining health) and thankfully you don't see that the foil has come away when the door is shut.

Many many thanks for your reply.
