How to get rid of the smell of baby vomit from mattress

My 11 month old vomited all her breast milk over my bed this morning. I stripped the bed straight away and blotted the mattress and aired the room, but the mattress is still smelling of vomit. Any ideas what I can do to treat it to get rid of the smell?

Sprinkle it with bicarb, leave for a few hours and hoover off. It should absorb the smell

Yes to bicarbonate and wash it down with biological washing powder solution as well.
