I'm taken by one of these. I've had circulon and tefal as well as normal non stick but they don't last. These claim to be scratch resistant. Is this a fib?!

If you’ve landed here looking for advice on which pans to buy, we’ve recently refreshed our best frying pan guide with loads of long-lasting options recommended by Mumsnetters, including ceramic and cast iron picks. We hope you find it useful.

watching with interest, as I saw one the other day which claims to work with an induction hob (not sure how).

I believe the ceramic is a coating on a metal pan.

My family have succeeded in scratching my ceramic pan. Grin
I bought it in TK Maxx. £10.
It's only a small scratch but it's visible.
You name it mine will scratch it, burn it etc!!
No pan or saucepan is safe in my house.
Mind you it must be genetic.
My dm has the worst collection of scratched non stick pans you could ever see.
A truly embarrassing set of saucepans/ frying pans.
P.S. I'd buy a ceramic pan again OP
