We brought a house and it had a built in washing machine its is mould on the door seal all black. Ive been looking into cleaning it but places say bleach? Will this not bleach my clothes on a next wash also what type of bleach ddoI actually buy? I only buy toilet duck or kitchen/bathroom cleaning branded products
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Ps I leave the door open after washes but this isnt helping the mouldy problem thats already there

Viakal limescale spray and a scouring pad, worked well on a machine DS2 had been given with a mucky seal

Astonish mould remover and a good scrub. Then run the machine empty on the hottest, longest cycle (cottons 90/95 should do it) with 1/2 scoop of biological powder (not liquid) or a washing machine cleaner

I used bleach and an old toothbrush. Followed by bleach in an empty machine on a 90 wash (the machine was old and making our clothes smell worse after washing ) we then did another empty load to rinse it through and the machine has been good as new since.
