ds2 (8) kindly vomited in his high rise sleeper bed. Resulted in vomit all over the wall next to his bed and dripping down to floor level. nice.

How's best to clean the wall. It's painted with a matt emulsion in a sage green colour if that makes any difference.

also wooden steps of his ladder also got a coating. can I steam clean these ?

Wash the walls with Sugar soap, hopefully it should cut through the vomit and clean the stains off the walls. Although you may have to repaint if it doesn't shift.

Mop the floors with detoll, if it still smells then liberally sprinkle the area with sodium bicarbonate and leave for an hour before vacuuming the floor.
