Apple cider vinegar-cleaning?

Quick question as if I start googling I'll waste the day on there lol!

I've found a giant 5litre bottle of Apple cider vinegar under the sink. It won't be used, I can't even remember when, where or why I got it. Can it be used for cleaning in the same way I use white, ie a splash in the mop bucket etc?

Thanks :)

You are meant to take a spoon daily to cleanse your system.

Hmm think I would rather clean with it!

Yep, you can use it just like white vinegar. It's just acetic acid. Here's a link to lots of ideas of things you can clean with it linky Oh and my favourite recipe recently found was 50/50 washing up liquid and vinegar with a teaspoon of vinegar in a spray bottle to clean up some tiles and slightly mouldy grouting. We don't have a glass screen but I've read that this is magic for limescale and soap scum on shower screens. Spray, leave for 10 mins, scrub with a sponge, rinse, stand back and admire! Oh and I've also read that hot vinegar is more efficient than cold at de-scaling limescale things :)

Sorry, teaspoon of table salt not vinegar!

Brill thanks! I've a huge glass screen that looks pretty for ooooh, an hour after cleaning lol!

If you have animals, it is great for getting off wee stains and cleans their blankets/towels.

I have guinea pigs, and the dried wee stains on their plastic cage is a real pain to get shifted. The stuff the pet store sells just doesn't seem to work and its really expensive! I use 50/50 and rinse well using the outside tap. (The cage bottom is 4')

I also use it to deordorise my washing on a 90deg wash.

Wouldn't be without my vinegar! :D

Use it for your hair. It makes it shiny
