amazing drying day

Wow what an amazing drying afternoon today. It was very windy and each garment required three pegs to keep it on the line. When I went to hang out my second load I found to my amazement that the first load was dry after only 40 minutes. However after nearly being blown over I hung the third load indoors. I just wish it had been towels that needed washing as they would have been nice and soft after the agitation.

I was just thinking this! Washed all of DD's little clothes and blankets, my bedding, a few towels, the bathroom mats Grin My poor machine didn't get a break today! Lovely weather!

DS 2 did all his washing, dried one load but the last one needed to go round the tumble dryer and he needed to put it on twice because it didnt dry his jeans or hoodies properly
Pity we don't have a rotary airer, he'd love that and so would I
