I am trying to re-organise the kitchen storage a little bit. We have 5 drawers one with cutlery, one with weighng sales and handblender and attachments. The others are a bit of a mix up one has clingfilm foil etc but loads of other rubbish one had batteries, phone charger then other random stuff and then another again lots of random bits and bobs. I can probably find other/better places for the other stuff in all of the drawers to go but I don't know what to put in their place.

We also have five drawers (two in a dresser, three actual "kitchen" drawers). Last year was the Year of the Declutter so we're in pretty good shape:

Drawer One: Cutlery - including chopsticks, straws and balloons (!)
Drawer Two: AKA the Drawer of Doom - odds and sods, all neatly organised in little tubs.
Drawer Three: Baking bits - cutters, muffin cases, sprinkles etc
Drawer Four: Mixed utensils - again organised in tubs
Drawer Five: Oven gloves, carrier bags (neatly folded into Carrier Bag Samosas) and the spare ice cube trays.

when we moved in the kitchen was disintegrating, so after a couple of years of collapsing drawers and general chaos, we got a lovely new one.

4 huge drawers, 5 normal size drawers and some little ones. I wish I'd had more...

The little ones contains things like 'fixings' (glue, laces, string, blutac) 'pet meds' (hibiscrub, flea drops, worming tablets), 'human meds' (painkillers, plasters, worming tablets), 'batteries n related shit' (batteries, little screws, picture wire - anything vaguely technical).

Several of my big drawers are a total shambles and need a major tidy/declutter. My favourite one, though, is the very deep one with with dividers in which I file roasting tins and baking trays.

3 drawers. Top - cutlery, sharp knives, little pots with measuring spoons and medicine spoons.

Middle drawer - short utensils in a tupperware. Medium utensils on a tupperware lid (balloon whisk, rubber spatula), few oddments like apple slicer

Bottom drawer - ladles, wooden spoons etc stood up in a jug. Cleaning cloths/rags and teatowels in separate tall boxes. Pot of klippits. Dishwashing tablets (because drawers are right next to dishwasher).

I also have a clear overflow box in a cupboard for rarely used stuff like candles, chopsticks and steak knives.

2 drawers here -

one holds chopping boards, rolling pin, pastry cutters and small utensils e.g garlic press.

The other holds weighing scales, batteries, food bags and other bits n bobs e.g crap

Knifes are on a magnetic rack on the wall, cutlery in a pot on the drainer and big utensils in pot next to cooker.

Tupperware box for small utensils is an idea ....
