Any ideas on washing faux fur throw? It is king size pale fur which the cat has taken a liking to & now smells of cat.
It has no washing instructions on at all & I don't want to ruin it.

If itll fit in the washer I would do a cold wash with liquid detergent and half a dose of softener. Then hang outside to dry. If its too big (mine was) I would cut it in half, finish it nicely, and have 2 throws. (I did). Whats the worst can happen? You could dry clean it if you want to be safe but I always feel it isnt as clean, and a few of those and you could hv bought a new throw IYSWIM.

I once machine washed a faux fur coat which dry cleaning hadnt touched. It came out brilliant.

Would cold get it clean?
I'm cautious of dry cleaning anything without a care label after something expensive got ruined but they'd got me to sign a disclaimer.
