Any experience of Gorenje+ appliances?

Trying to choose integrated appliances for new kitchen - electric oven, combi microwave, induction hob, fridge freezer, freezer, dishwasher.Had picked out a set of midpriced Bosch and Neff models based on my prior experience and reading reviews. Kitchen company is pushing Gorenje+ as they have 'good deals' and you do seem to get quite a lot for your money but can't find any reviews. Feedback online is about the lower priced Gorenje appliances as sold by Argos / Amazon and the retro Smeg-style fridges. No Which? tests of the brand. They come with 5 year warranty but concerned about ease / speed of getting them fixed if they go wrong?

I used to have a G orenje dishwasher, which I would recommend.

I originally bought an AEG which managed to pack up after 13 months and they were completely adamant that it was tough luck. I asked the repair man which he would chose for a replacement and he said Go renje - at the time I said - who?

Anyway we took his advice and had it for 7 years before moving house and leaving it behind. Smile

Apparently - and this is only hearsay, it is made in the same factory as BOsch? but I don't know if that is true or not

I'm pretty sure my neighbour had a Gorenje dryer, she had no problems with it and recommended it to us when we were looking for a dryer and ended up with a pretty lacklustre siemens

There are lots of home videos people have posted on you tube reviewing their Gorenje appliances. It would be worth having a look on there to see what people say about Gorenje and other brands.

My brother has the retro fridge freezer, it is not even frost free and looks a bit cheap.

They used to be manufacturers for many of the big name brands until they decided to launch their own brand. I think they are pretty good but I don't know from experience.

As an aside I once worked with their MD from Slovenia, (20 odd years ago!) - he was delightful and charming. How that affects the appliances I don't know!
