Afternoon! Can anyone recommend good quality baking trays / roasting trays? I am so fed up with replacing these as they end up all manky, bent and just grotty! Would like some good quality ones that can be dishwashed and will last more than a few months! Anyone know of good makes? Thanks!

I got a heavy one half price in sainsburys. I often stop and look at lovely looking ones in John Lewis and maybe one day I will treat myself!

Lakeland
TKMaxx

There is also a double nectar point offer on at Sainsbos ...

Just remember to season them so they last

Le Creuset are fantastic!

Have a good rummage around TK Maxx. They always have fab quality ones for a good price. I get all of my pans etc from there.

Mermaid do good quality baking trays. You might be able to find some reduced at TK Maxx. Not sure whether they can be dish-washed, but have never needed to as they pretty much always wipe clean easily.

Avoid circulon. Total rubbish. They have holes in which store washing up water, but worse, they burn & the grooves can't be cleaned out.

Honestly, I've given up. Granted I'm not particular careful with them, but they never last. I just use a reasonably heavy one and line with baking parchment.

All mine are disgusting with burnt on grease! No matter what I do they end up that way, I should buy new and line them really

Mermaid

TK Maxx sometimes have them.

My le creuset roasting tray has been worth every penny (expensive gift from husband) but I look after it carefully and would never put it in the dishwasher. Recently purchased something similar looking/weight from TK max and so far pretty impressed ( i don't recall the name and no branding on it).

I treated myself to some of these from 'my kitchen' range. Was always buying cheap ones that did not last so splashed out on some nicer ones.

Pampered chef stone ware. They don't even need washing, just scraping with the nylon scraper that they come with. Expensive, but really good.

heidiwine · 18/03/2015 21:53

TKMaxx is great for homeware I have several baking trays from there. I never put them in the dishwasher - some have lasted years and I can still roast potatoes in them without being afraid the potatoes will stick.

Mermaid are fantastic and Homesense/TK Maxx is the best place to get them. I also have an enormous (only just fits in the oven) roasting tray that I got there years ago for about £20 which should have been about £80, not Mermaid (can't remember name) but fantastic quality.
