are there any combination washer/dryers that are actually good at both functions??

In the market for a new one of both, i've previously had no good experience with combination machines but thought i'd check if they've improved recently?

Have had an AEG one for about 5 years and no breakdowns so far. Dryer function isn't as fast as a standalone, but didn't have room for separates in the utility room so that was that. Vaguely recall it was about £800 new.
