my 200 quid argos dishwasher has stopped working after 18months

I didn't buy a top up guarantee and its just me using it at home twice or so a week. Should I pester them to fix it under the EU 6 years manufacturer defect as it was clearly not up tlfor purpose?

Its a bush and the water is not heating, think it must be the heating element.

Try it - nothing to lose have you? You would expect that kind of appliance to last more than 18 months.

We bought our dishwasher in June last year from Argos and it was 219.00 it's a Bush model. Is that the same model as you have?

I would certainly ring them up and see what they say. From what you said it's had little use compared to some families, ours is on daily, if not twice a day sometimes.
