Having a blitz, anyone care to join me?

Bit by bit I'm blitzing the junk from my house, its taking a while but I'm getting there!

Last week I tackled the bathroom which is now amazing as it takes 10 minutes to fully clean, yesterday I tackled under my bed which was a sorry mess of clothes for the charity shop (which have been there for about 18 months Blush) and random bits and pieces which are now all binned or bagged and today's job is DS' room!

Anyway I've sat down for a cup of tea and looking for some motivation, anyone care to join me or suggestions for motivating music would also be appreciated?! :o

Been doing spare room today. Six big black bags to go to the charity shop. I had premier radio on helps me more to focus although i found abusive relationship topic today very sad. I didnt realise how many people go through it.

Its amazing the stuff we have sitting around isn't it?

I get sentimental with things and definitely have hoarding tendencies so I need to clear out and start afresh and realise that material items aren't memories...

Most of all though I just want the house to be easier and quicker to clean as although its tidy and surface clean I'd like to be able to just whizz round and know its done properly, being more organised I guess.

I've sorted some bookshelves and clothes.

I had a section in boxes of decent clothes to eBay, but i haven't got the time and can't be bothered. So, it's all gone to charity.

There were actually spaces on bookshelves that were cluttered before. Amazing!

Yesterday we filled our bins with old bits of tat and rubbish. Today we are going to tackle the "Monica cupboard".

House is so tidy! Please please please let me maintain it!

I've done the same Wow, had 4 binbags of kids clothes that are fine to reuse but couldn't be arsed selling so put them for free on local FB page and they've gone and that's that!

Today I'm going to be a bit lazy and maybe just aim for 1 or 2 cupboards in the kitchen.

Monica cupboard now almost empty! There was a hiccup... Next door had a leak and there was mould and damp at the back of the cupboard! So had to wash it down with bleach, which was fun. We will build shelves in in the future but at the moment we left the IKEA shelving unit in there. But it now contains a sewing machine, guitar, amp, hoover and aiders! Wowee! That was all cluttering up my dining room before. Grin
