7 and 3 is old enough to help

My seven year old does the following

clears away breakfast things and loads dishwasher
wipes table
unloads dishwasher
takes out the rubbish and recycling
hoovers
puts in a load of washing
pegs out washing
folds washing and puts into piles to be put away (and puts away his own)
brings in kindling for the fire and builds the fire ready for lighting.
tidies his room
polishes the coffee table and piano.

So your seven year old could definitely help Smile.
