i bought a new electric kettle from Argos this week. After boiling it lots of times over a few days, the water still has an unpleasant sort of burnt taste. Do you think they would give me a refund? It's spoiling my brew!

Have had this, a brabantia. Looked great, Tasted vile. I tried soaking. Used bicarbonate, vinegar, everything, took it back to Robert Dyas who were Hmm said no one else had returned them. Bought one with a filter instead.
It's great!

Did you get a refund pierpressure? I've used it lots in the hope it will get better or I'll get used to the taste so I feel like a bit of a fraud.

Sorry for delay, life!
Yes! well I got it exchanged for the Murphy Richards Britain kettle which takes ages to fill, but it's worth it.
