Is the normal for a dryer?

I have recently for the first time bought a dryer- beko condenser dryer. I clean the lint filter everytime but there is always some lint that espaces in the space where it slots into. It's not a hassle and I just use a piece of kitcjen towel to wipe it including the bottom part of the inside door sometimes.
Is this to be expected or should all the lint be collected in the filter ?

To be expected. It drops down from there into a filter that you need to rinse out under the tap to clean it. I do mine about once a month. It should be behind the flap at the bottom, it pulls out.

Thanks. That explains it. I do rinse out the condenser in the shower and lots of wet lint comes out.
