How to clean the lint trap on a washer dryer?

It's a Siemens one if that helps, with a rubber seal around the neck of the drum. We have indoor cats and there must be an unholy amount of fur in there, but I can't get to it to clean it out. I put in a help request and asked Siemens to tell me where it was and how to do it but they sent me the instruction booklet which is clear as mud and doesn't use the words "lint trap" so I'm stuck.

Anyone done this before and can explain in layman's English what needs doing?

Have you had a look on YouTube or Siemens website? Manufacturers often put 'how to' videos on their websites. Other than that I can't help - dryers are great for getting pet hair off clothes. You're probably right that it's full of cat hair!

I don't think my washer dryer had a lint trap - or maybe it did and I never cleaned it!

Actually - what model do you have? Some of them have a fluff removal programme rather than a lint trap.

I don't think my washer dryer had a lint trap either. Certain I never cleaned it!
