ok im still in my nightie, dp has taken dd's out to his mum's. I'm a childminder and i have a family coming to see me this afternoon at 3pm to interview me about looking after their dd, obviously i want everywhere immaculately clean (untidiness i can deal with but dirt i can't stand!)

i started tidying at 10.05am so far i have done most of upstairs just got to finish the bathroom.
downstairs is tidy but needs wiping/ dusting and hoovering/ mopping then i need to sort through the toys to find some toys that are age appropriate then i need to gather my paperwork to how the parents

i also need to have a bath and go into town and buy sugar and a new top (all my tshirts are baggy and worn, i want to look good)

so please can i have some support?

What are you doing on here woman?!

You'll do just fine. We had an estate agent coming round to value our house a couple of weeks ago and I had till 3pm to sort the house and myself out and I managed it (just!).

Good luck! And just think you'll have a lovely clean house at the end of it all too.

Let us know how it goes!!

Are you that lovely childminder who started the thread about what 3.5 years could do as you wanted to make sure that you were doing the right things with one of your mindees ? If so, I think you are lovely and considerate and I'm sure that will shine through when they meet you. What you are like would be far more important to me than how clean the house is. Good luck

aww thank you kitty, yes i am that "lovely childminder" and i really hope that you are right!! i've only been minding about 6 months so i'm just getting off the groud. this will only be the 3rd "interview" i've done since i started. currently i've only got the 3.5yr old and my own 2 girls who are 1 and 7

fingers crossed for me please!
