Aerobed - any good?

Looking at getting an Aerobed raised as a very occasional guest bed. Does anyone have any experience? Do they stay well inflated overnight?

Thanks

Yes! We have a double and highly recommend. They do deflate a little but they come with a remote control switch for sleepy pumping up in the morning. All airbeds deflate slightly. well worth the money I would say. Just remember to pump up and leave to cool (it will deflate) then pump up again before you use.

oh and always vacuum underneath beforehand because they will puncture. (we put ours on a blanket). Looks just like a bed.

Yes. Recommend. We've had one for a couple of years, excellent and much comfier than expected.

We have one. It's great in that it looks like a bed and is very easy to inflate. It is comfortable enough, but it feels like an airbed.

I love ours, but it is massive! It's the size and height of a proper double bed, which is great, except that it takes up our entire living/dining room, and when deflated is still a bit of a heavy beast. In hindsight, a small, lower, single sized one would serve us better.
But I do love it, and it makes me think I can invite couples to stay. Which I can't because then we have nowhere to be with them when they are awake...

Although it does inflate and deflate very quickly, and is super easy to put up and take down.

Thanks. Has anyone ordered from aerobed.co.uk?

I bought my aerobeds from aerobed.co.uk - fine experience. Mine were the active ones for travelling (and very reduced there) - would imagine that they would be very good at the guarantee bit if you needed it as you are buying direct.

supadupapupascupa · 29/01/2015 15:02

yes that's where I got mine from

shovetheholly · 29/01/2015 17:01

Yes, I have one and it's decent. It stays up all night (ooer missus) and is quite a bit more comfortable than other airbeds I've tried.

However, I think it matters that you don't store them somewhere hot, e.g. a loft or airing cupboard, as this can make the rubber seals around the fake pocket-sprung bits perish. If, like me, you live in the northern wastes, you are fine to put them anywhere in the house though Grin

Yes have one here too and its great
