I have a new metal kettle. I boiled and refilled it a good 100 times (it feels like) and it still tastes really tinny.

Is there another way?

My tea taste bleurgh

I have the same issue with mine, sorry no advice. I've given up with mine so it just looks nice in my kitchen and I boil water for my tea on the hob

I had this with a Brabantia, It was lovely to look at, but after cleaning with bicarbonate of soda, and boiling and rinsing for a few weeks to try and remedy it. The water still tasted disgusting. It wasn't just me, my whole family noticed it. If it was very fresh water it was bearable, but leave the water for an hour and it was undrinkable.
I took it back and bought a Brita one with a proper filter, it takes ages to fill but tastes good.

When i got mine it said in the instructions to dilute vinegar and boil it. That might help
