How old is your oven?

DD2 has once again knackered the oven by fiddling with the timer, an old manual twist clock not a digital pad. I have never used the timer and don't know how to put it right.

I have been online trying to find a manual for any make of oven that I might be able to suss it out from. I can only find digital timer ones making me feel like our oven is an antique. We have lived here almost 9 years and it was here when we moved in. God knows how long it had been in before that. How old is yours, should we be changing it? Will people soon be queuing at our door to see the oven from the ark?

If anyone knows how to twist the knobby bit to make the oven work again I'd be hugely grateful.

can you post a photo of the timer and any buttons around it?

If you know the make and model you could email the manufacturers

It is from Bernstein Group, despite not sounding it apparently it's an Italian group that have now gone bust.
Will go and take a pic now and work out how to upload

So it's got a knob on the clock that pulls out into various positions to do different things.

My oven is nearly 22 years old, some chipped paint and, as of Sunday, the ignition on one hob ring won't work but otherwise good! ??
