After a huge amount of research I ordered this Smeg stainless steel dishwasher mark.reevoo.com/reevoomark/en-GB/product?sku=10074117&trkref=CYS&__utma=1.629908785.1418558749.1421542249.1421569036.7&__utmb=1.12.8.1421569812383&__utmc=1&__utmx=-&__utmz=1.1421569036.7.7.utmgclid=CLzYqb2WnMMCFQvKtAoduSYADQ%7Cutmccn=(not%20set)%7Cutmcmd=(not%20set)&__utmv=-&__utmk=207425299 but now I read online reviews that say Smeg is rubbish in general. Does anyone have this specific Smeg dishwasher? Feel like cancelling my order now. :(

DS2 has a white basic Smeg dishwasher, so far its been good touch wood
but its not old enough to judge on reliability, sadly! sorry OP

No don't have that specific one but have a different model as well as a Smeg fridge, oven and hob. I can confirm that Smeg are crap and would never buy anything made by them. Sorry if not what you want to hear.

Hi Busy, I have this Smeg dishwasher - purchased 6 months ago.

No problems with it at all. It runs smoothly and cleans and drys effectively. Looks great too.

I always purchase appliances from a local small business who offer a really good after-care service for any issues. This is a great way of alleviating any worries about things going wrong :)

Thank you everyone!

KnightswhosayNi I was wondering whether maybe the new model that you have is in a different league than the other smegs? How long have you had yours? It has excellent stats (being A+++ and it uses very little water to clean which we really liked). But now I'm worried and I think we're going to rather go for a Bosch which is a known brand to me. :( :( It is not as pretty though. :( :( None of the small businesses around here stock or sell Smeg. :(

DS2 got his Smeg from AO.com, and they do a stainless steel one like it too, its 6 months old and he's had no problems with it

Thank you! I think for peace of mind I'm going to go for a Bosch instead. Pity Smeg doesn't seem to have a very good track record. :(
