If you have one how do you find it?
I have a winter weight one from Soak and Sleep and am very disappointed with it. Not warm at all Hmm
It was a birthday treat but I think a 15 tog microfibre one would have been better.
And a lot cheaper.!

I love mine. It's an autumn weight one from Gingerlily. It cost an arm and a leg and was worth every penny.

It keeps me warm in Scottish winters with no heating.

Are the Soak and Sleep ones good quality silk? That sounds rude, sorry. But if it's winter weight but not warm that doesn't sound right! Is it only part silk maybe? I get up in the mornings absolutely toasty and red faced from the heat of mine.

Thank you for your reply.
I think the quality must be very poor.
I am so disappointed.
It wasn't cheap, though not as expensive as Gingerlily.
I wake up cold!
I also bought silk duvet covers from them. They are lovely.

Supposedly 100 percent silk.

I have a summer silk duvet from soak and sleep which I love...if you're not happy I know they have a very good returns policy as I sent a duvet back that I didn't want.

Mine is toasty warm and I love how it looks when the bed is made up but it's SOOOO heavy for my poor hands to cope with :( Bought it from Sleep and Soak and liked the thought of natural materials

hollyisalovelyname · 17/01/2015 18:58

I am actually wondering if it was mislabelled at the factory.
DH and I use a single duvet each - less disturbance fighting over a superking in our sleep ( see also latest snoring threadGrin).
The single silk 'winter' duvet is not heavy.

Mine is king sized and so light. No more straining a muscle turning over dragging the duvet with me. Grin I can fold it up so small and light and take it when I stay elsewhere.

Holly, I agree with justtoo about seeing if you can return yours.

hollyisalovelyname · 17/01/2015 19:38

Thanks o0.
Mine isn't heavy but it's certainly not light as air either.
I truly believed it would be as light as air but really cozy. Hmm
