How do I get glue off clothes?

DD has got quite a bit of glue on her school sweatshirt. I've just taken it out of the washing machine and it's not come off in the wash. Now I'm sure the school would use washable glue so how come it's not come off? what do I need to do?

I've got Lakeland's sticky stuff remover - anyone used this on clothes?

Lakelands sticky stuff remover can be used on clothes.

Sometimes my children get glue on their school clothes that does not come off with washing but I find you can hide it (until it next gets washed) by ironing it. I don't know what glue that is, but you could try to see if yours was the same!
