Unfortunately, my cat is dying of lymphoma. Yesterday he made a mess on the dining room floor, which is engineered oiled oak. I didn't notice it for several hours overnight, and it has soaked in.
I have cleaned it very thoroughly this morning with dettol, and then bleach, but it has soaked into the top layer of the wood.
I think I need to sand the wood back very gently and re-oil. But I don't know how to match the colour. Please help!
