Help! Messy eater versus favourite shirt disaster....

I'm hoping the collective wisdom of Mumsnet will be able to help me on this one. Tonight, whilst inhaling a delicious curry prepared by DH, I splodged some down the front of a my favourite white linen shirt. I haven't even tried to deal with it yet - can anyone advise on the best way to get the turmeric-y yellow stain out? Pleeeaaassseee! (wails)

Soak in cold water and after someone has come along with a good solution to wash it in, use sunlight, hang it on the line for a few days rain, snow or whatever and it should help shift it.
