How to restore book page previously folded

I have bought a book as a present for a friend. DH decided he will read it first and unfortunatelly he folded the top corner of one page. The book is new and the folding happenend this morning. How can I restore the page so it looks new before giving it to my firend?

You can store it flat with a lot of weight on top for a few months and then the fold would be less noticeable. I would get a new book and let DH finish reading this one.
