Door mats for inside and outside - your recommendations?

I want to buy some quality and effective door mats to reduce the dirt being brought into the house. We don't wear shoes inside beyond the hallway but the soles of my new slippers are mystifyingly dirty already!

What are the best you've bought please? Not fussed how the outside ones look but would prefer something neutral and not too industrial or unattractive for inside.

Turtle mat for inside. Worth the money.

Another vote for turtle mats. Worth every penny. They go into washing machine - I just give them quick 20 min wash - and they come out like new. Don't know about any amazing outdoor mats so shall keep watching

Looking at turtle mats. They look fab! A company called Grimeford Mill look to make v similar for much less. Tempted by those for front and back doors and a matching runner for the hallway....!

Bought a Scandinavian design doormat recently, called pappelina, lovely design and washable. (Made from recycled plastic with cotton).
