I want one that I can blast over everything, ie not just floors. Any recommendations please? :)

Watching this - i just posted in another section but probably should have posted here.

Sweet, no help from me, sorry. I too am looking for a steam cleaner that will shift dirt from the mankiest of slate floors! And one that would work on a big area.

Thanks everyone, and sorry for the hijack!

I have this one it's brilliant on my laminate foods, oven grime, shower glass
I haven't used it to its full potential yet

Oooh likey likey. As a steam cleaning novice can I ask if the cleaner sucks the dirty stuff away, or does it get left on the pad?

TheFutureMrsB · 05/01/2015 13:46

Morphy Richards 9 in 1 , can't link as on tablet -and don't know how- Blush it's brilliant for everything Grin

The pad can get mucky yes, but it washes lovely in a quick wash in the washing machine

sweetsundaefortwo · 05/01/2015 14:17

Thanks for the recommendations. Do any of those need a detergent?

We've just got the morphy richards 9 in 1 and tried it at the weekend - really happy with it!

Tigerpug dirt sticks on pad and then they get washed

tigerpug · 05/01/2015 19:30

Sweet, the thread i started is in the property section, more info for you over there...

I bought a steam cleaner about a year ago and found that it was no better than elbow grease. Don't bother.

It was the Morphy Richards one BTW.

I was lured into buying the H20 steam mop after seeing it on teleshopping and I LOVE it. Handheld steamer or floor mop incl carpets. Love to use all over the house when I have time or the cleaner hasn't been

H20
