Storing paperwork

Important paperwork is currently in a basket in plastic wallets but it's a nightmare I need something that's not to big to store but that I can access things easily rather than spending ages searching through everything.

What does everyone else use?

I've put mine in ring binders. It's not perfect but I can find most things. Crb cert, yes. Birth cert, yes. I've got important papers, house, car, finance.

I had a box which sort of opened out like an accordion, with labeled sections. Then it fell apart :(

I keep mine in labelled button wallets in a matalan basket that's just the right size for them all standing on end so I can flick through them.

The ring binders might work just need find somewhere to keep them.

The basket thing doesn't work as its forever toppling over

I've just got them on my bookcase. But I may have to buy prettier folders.
