I want to keep ds paints/play doh etc etc in his playroom, but don't want him to be able to get hold of it without me knowing!

Any storage recommendations that will keep it safe?

Ours are kept in a top cupboard in the kitchen. Only used at kitchen table when I'm around. Our playroom has carpet, kitchen is tiled. And 4 kids under 9 means it can't be easily accessible!!

you can get large toolboxes that can be fastened with a small padlock. Plastic ones would do until he learns to use a saw and jemmy. Screwfix, and sometimes Aldi, have them.

It is possible to drill a couple of holes in the bottom to screw it to the floor, or to the bottom of a wardrobe.

Bisley make lockable filing drawers and lockers in all kinds of lovely colours... Might be worth a look.
