How do you do yours?

I desperatly need a new mop to clean my kitchen floor. How do others clean theirs? Any recommendations for cleaning products? And what type of mop would you reccomend?

I know it's a boring subject but my fllor is getting to be a bit crunchy and quite frankly a health hazard

i've got a supermop but get better results just scrubbing on my knees!

I have a microfibre mop similar to this one, and it's great. Also very good on laminate.

why am I always drwn to these threads?!

I've got a vileda but like SEA I get down on my knees and scrub.

Oooh! thanks for the link Jackie. Think I will definatly go for one of those when pay day comes around. They seem to have a lot of great things on there, think I might be spending a little bit on there

Yeah so I've just found out. Wasted a pleasant evening looking at what they have. Shame they don't do a want's list that I could just go to and take a few off each month.

I have one of those pad things you put a floor wipe onto, then sqoose the floor as I go along if the wipe is dryng up.

I think you can actually get microfibre mops in supermarkets too - certainly in Waitrose, so I guess other places too. Might be cheaper (but then you wouldn't have the excuse to just buy a couple of other bits from Lakeland at the same time).

I just have a floor wipe pad thing too and HATE it.... now ive seen the micro-fibre wotsit - I WANT ONE!

Will deffo get one of those tomorrow - or should I say tell my dad to buy me one!!

I love microfibre cloths for cleaning too - so much nicer!!
