..and a little bit poignant (is that the right word?). I've been doing the boys' bedrooms and I keep finding little stashes of conkers, acorns and stones. Lego men and farm animals set up in little scenes where they've had to abanon a game and go to school. Just folded DS1's school trews over a hanger and about 20 conkers fell out and rolled across the floor - made me cry - because I found it touching, not because of the mess. Premenstrual? moi?

You preggers? I cried about things like that when I was preggers.

how splendid
I have 6sq metrs of snap cards, blocks, marbles, books and Wallace and Gromit items stewn at my feet that would warm the cockles of your heart. Come round now and treat yourself

No - not preggers just hormonal and over tired I think.

i get like that megalegs

the best sound in the world is hearing dd's playing with their toys, amking little voices and conversations, listening at their bedroom door and they dont know you are there

I havn't started on the playroom yet though. I don't dare look as the mega box of 5000 plastic doimnoes is lidless and empty in the kitchen, the little darlings won't seem quite so lovely then.
