Is it Cif cream or some other Cif product?

wowfudge · 19/12/2014 16:37

If it's Cif cream and not something containing bleach, try using fizzy water/soda water to lift the cream out of the carpet and blot with a towel. You may have to do this several times. If it contains bleach, use vinegar (distilled malt vinegar or white wine vinegar) or lemon juice to neutralise the bleach then wash out using fizzy water.

Thanks it's the cream so no bleach I think... Will give it a go!

Oh and the best way to soak up liquid on carpet is to stand on the towel I find!

Daisy1478 · 17/07/2015 12:06

wowfudge · 17/07/2015 12:08

What kind of stain and what was it on?

Daisy1478 · 17/07/2015 12:11

It was a dark fruits drink that has gone just now Cif marks are still there

wowfudge · 17/07/2015 12:17

Okay, are the marks on clothing or carpet or something else?

Daisy1478 · 17/07/2015 12:32

A cream carpet

wowfudge · 17/07/2015 12:46

I would try wetting it with soda water and blotting it - put pressure on the wet area, don't rub it, using an old towel. You may need to do this several times.
