how to store vegtables?

in a trolley or in the fridge?

did a web search but nothing definitive
mention the boxes in the fridge, does that realy work?

Depends if you have somewhere cool and dark to put the trolley.

Depends on the veg - eg I find onions do better in dry conditions (ie not in a fridge) & carrots need to be in the fridge or they go bendy.

Carrots keep much better and for longer if you put them in a paper bag first and then in a poly bag in the fridge. Don't know why, but it works!
