how often do you vac your stairs and how (am just about to get carpet for first time)

how many duvet covers do you have and how often do you wash/change them (to solve duvet-cover dilemma)

Stairs get done with hoover about once every 2 weeks (we live on 3 stories and stairs are a pain). I do them every 4 or 5 days with a hand held vax thing as well though.

We have 2 duvet cover/pillow sets and change them approx every 2 weeks. DD has more spares and hers ge cleaned a little more frequently.

vac stairs: twice a week done by cleaner both times

duvet covers, no idea how many we have, probably 5/6 (ds has a double bed, dd has a cot), cleaner changes all of them every fortnight (her idea not mine)

No stairs. Wash floors thoroughly once every 2 days.
