Not that anyone will be reading many other threads other than that one but here goes.

We are tiling the bathroom floor with black, slate appearance tiles.

The walls are all plain white tiles.

We have boxed in the pipes around the toilet, sink etc.

Shall we carry the black floor up and tiles the boxing in that.

OR

Continue the white tiles down?

White tiles down!

I would go with white myself

I think if you went up with the black in would make the boxed pipes stand out to much!

Katymac · 08/10/2006 20:17

Think I'd go with white too

It will minimise the effect

The boxing in - is it part of the walls (& therefore white) or the floor (& therefore black)

We have just done this in our shower room and we continued the white tiles down looks lovely.

It's so easy to splash on a bit of white gloss then if something goes tits up or a tile falls off

I AM a bit poor though
