Getting stain out of woollen jumper

I got some of my red wine heavy stew on a light coloured jumper this evening. Ran it under tap and then into machine on hand wash cycle but is still visible. Any tiles for getting it out or is that it, well and truly washed in?

Try rubbing the stain in lemon juice and then pour salt over it. Leave the salt to soak up the lemon juice and hopefully also he stain - overnight. You could also use potato flour or maize starch to soak up the juice.

Then wash with wool dertergent.
