Bedroom revamp - any ideas/info?

We're wanting to revamp our bedroom and make it into more of a haven, away from the kiddy chaos that has claimed the rest of the house. Does anyone know any great websites where I can get ideas? I don't really know what I want, and decorating creativity isn't one of my strong points , so I need some inspiration. Thanks!

PLAIN COLOURS ALL ROUND, WALLS FLOORS, wardrobes and then some fab bedspreads, a polar fleece one from white company if you have lots to spend and a sati one from john lewis. nice side lamps , fabulous ceiling lampshade, no bright bulbs all soft and cosy/romantic.

Agree with hermyne. Keep the colours to a inimum and aAlso clear out as much clutter as possible.

Thanks for input. We've started decluttering and were seriously frightened by what we found underneath the TV! Have sent off for the White Company catalogue and are now looking forward to trying out some nice neutral matchpots to see what goes best with our carpet (not changing that!). Thanks again!
