Wet room floor

We've just had our bathroom converted to a wet room. Looks lovely. DD1 (10) used it first and the whole floor was soaked. I know I know it's a wet room. But I couldn't get it mopped up using my e-cloth mop! Well, I could, it took 5 lots of wringing & mopping. So the question is - can anyone recommend a good mop for a wet room?

What you need is a window squeegy (sp) on a pole. You just push the excess water towards the drain with it. I dont know if they sell them in uk though. Otherwise if the floor is not too big you could use a window vac to suck up the water.

We have a wet room, but actually have a shower screen attached to the wall, so it stops the water going near the toilet, etc. I just use a window squeegy to push the water into the drain, seems to work fine. Just need to train the rest of the family now.

We have a sponge type squeegy on a long pole . Push the water towards the drain and leave the floor dryish.
We dont have a screen but I think I might get one put in since theres nowt so nasty as sitting on condensed steam when you nip in for a wee after someones had a shower Sad
